PICTURED ROCKS NATIONAL LAKESHORE - October 2016: Fall colors paint the trees in October throughout the Beaver Basin Wilderness section of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore near Munising, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula. In 2009 the Beaver Basin Wilderness was created inside the park as part of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act. This provides permanent legal protection for this 11,740 acre section of the lakeshore.
