PICTURED ROCKS NATIONAL LAKESHORE - October 2016: Rock cairns out in the wilderness are traditionally used to mark a trail especially in the mountains above tree line. As I'm out hiking I've been seeing more of these rock stacking sculptures people have made. This one was at the top of Spray Falls about three feet from the edge before plunging 70 feet straight down to Lake Superior in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
